ABOUT

Our monthly men's breakfast centers around Delighting in the Trinity—a podcast featuring the preaching and teaching of Dr. Michael Reeves. Each month, we focus on a specific episode that men are encouraged to listen to beforehand as they prepare to sharpen one another through meaningful, God-centered discussion (Proverbs 27:17).

This time of fellowship is meant to equip the men of our church to rejoice in the triune God as they embrace and embody the realities of their union with Jesus Christ.

PREPARATION

To help make the time of fellowship and discussion rich and meaningful:

  1. Listen. Make sure to listen to the episode beforehand—that’s what we’ll be discussing.
  2. Write. Jot down any notes, quotes, insights, or questions that stand out to you—anything helpful, thought-provoking, or edifying.
  3. Bring. Be sure to bring your notes with you so you’re ready to engage in the conversation.
  4. Participate. Come prepared to share and engage—so that one person is not left guiding the conversation, directing every question, or trying to draw out responses from others. When everyone actively contributes, the discussion becomes more fruitful and flows more naturally, rather than feeling like a one-sided conversation, formal interview, or awkward interrogation.

If you’re on the church’s email list, be on the lookout for details about the time and location of the next meeting—an email will be sent out with all the information you need.

We understand that life can be unpredictable—schedules fill up, things get busy, and preparation isn’t always possible. So, even if you haven’t had a chance to listen to the episode beforehand, don’t let that keep you from coming. If you’re looking for encouragement, prayer, or simply the fellowship of other Christians, we strongly encourage you to attend. God is faithful to stir and strengthen the hearts of His people when they gather in the company of one another.
